The Tune Audio PRIME is a two way design, with the smallest footprint possible to house a bass horn. The bass horn fires to the floor and is built from grade A Baltic birch plywood. Mid frequencies are radiated directly by the cone while the high frequencies are handled by a horn loaded super tweeter.
Crossovers are located on the bottom of the bass horn well away from magnetic fields. This allows the crossover parts to be well spaced to avoid any kind of interference and distant from any driver's magnetic field. All components are hard wired for best contact. All internal wiring are custom made of high purity OFC copper with waxed cotton insulation.
High frequencies horn loaded super tweeter is flush mounted on the baffle for a mechanically time aligned/time coherent result.
Low to mid-powered valve or solid state amplifiers with low or no feedback are recommended. Near wall or room corner placement is also recommended.
