Product Description
VPI set its sights on a new analog benchmark – one that rivals the sound of founder Harry Weisfeld's Ampex ATR-102 tape machine – in the form of the Titan turntable.
You hear ‘tables described as featuring deep-black backgrounds from which the music is laid out before you, but you've never witnessed a noise floor this low. You've read about explosive dynamics, transient attack, and remarkable speed stability, but you have never before experienced the realism this musical instrument produces in your home.
Titan is based around a 20kg slave platter driving the main bearing, a system that imparts no background noise. Its built-in air-suspension, levelling feet isolate a measured 98% of all loudspeaker feedback and vibration. The Fat Boy tonearm delivers improved sound staging and an indescribably controlled bottom end.
