VPI owners can now upgrade their older platters to the awesome 2-inch thick aluminium platter used on the Prime (and previous Classic range).
Adding the new aluminium/stainless steel platter makes a huge improvement, further reducing noise and improving speed stability. No ringing, no resonance, just a cool new look and great performance.
The VPI Classic Aluminium Platter Upgrade also allows use of VPI Ring Clamp! (Except for the HW-19)
Included is the platter and bearing for a direct replacement. If you're upgrading, eg want to put the Prime platter on your Prime Scout, you will need the Upgrade Kit (spacers and hardware) sold separately.
