The VPI Signature DS takes the best aspects of their Signature 21 and trickles down the performance in a more affordable package. Standard with a Gimbal 3D arm, HW-40 isolation feet, double-stacked chassis with a metal dampening plate.
Effectively this is a Signature 21 with a thinner damping plate in the plinth, and a lower-spec arm (Sig 21 has the Fatboy arm).
The external motor mounting system ensures ultra low noise performance, and the heavy mass platter ensures excellent speed stability (often what suffers with an outboard motor).
