Create a power cord for Shunyata Research power conditioners that allows the conditioner to achieve its absolute maximum performance.  Remove any and all constraints regarding construction time and difficulty and ignore cost limitations to produce the ultimate power cord.

The Omega-X XC is the result of that research project that spanned more than 3 years, involving literally hundreds of tests, designs and construction solutions.  The Omega XC features Shunyata Research’s incredible VTX-Ag conductors in a mind-bending 4 gauge size.

We recommend Shunyata QR or NR (Noise-Reducing) cables for use with your hifi components, whether direct from the wall or from a power conditioner. The Shunyata XC cables are recommended as feed cables from the wall outlet to a power conditioner.

VTX-Ag has a core conductor of pure silver with an outer concentric conductor of high-purity OFE copper. VTX-Ag provides significant improvements in dynamics, timing precision, and low-level resolution while preserving the subtle tonal, textural, and timbral signatures that bring music to life.
