SRA's VR Series isoBASE takes a different approach in controlling and eliminating vibrations. They are designed specifically for the size, weight and weight distribution of your component, which is unique to this type of product. It's the use of new super rigid build materials which allows them to bring component specific design to all music lovers, at attainable price points. All isoBASE units are preset for exact unit weight total & weight distribution (+ or - 1.2kg).
Under each VR isoBASE are four spiked feet, each of which is attached to a module inside the unit. These modules provide the unit with six degrees of free motion: forward, backward, left, right, up, down. Each module contains 80 internal parts.
The SRA VR isoBASE effectively isolates down to 3 Hz.
This particular platform is sized and balanced to suit Manley Laboratories pre-amp models including the 300B Neo-Classic, Steelhead, Jumbo Shrimp and Chinook. It will also fit the Manley Stingray and Neo-Classic 250 and 500 amplifiers. Please specify which model you have when you checkout. Price is for one so if you have the Neo monoblocks you will need two.
We recommend the VR 2.0 (2" thick) for use on a rack, and the VR 3.0 (3" thick) for use on the floor. Pricing is the same for both options. There is also the option of longer feet for carpet, so please specify your flooring to be used if applicable.
SRA's VR platforms are available to order in any size (min 25cm each side) so you can have a completely purpose made vibration control system for any of your components.

According to Tellekamp, resonances travel from a component into a module, where friction occurs, producing heat within the compound. This modifies the compound’s darometer (hardness) in a rapid and predictable manner. Thus, he says, once a component’s tendency to create resonances is identified, each module can be customized to alter its darometer in such a way that all four modules, working together, quickly dissipate those resonances."
